In Europe, various NeXus user groups meet on a yearly basis to exchange information and learn more about Biofeedback, Neurofeedback applications and the NeXus system. On October 14th, a group of 20 Dutch and Belgium users met in Amersfoort (Netherlands) for the second time. From Mind Media, Tim Keren and Erwin Hartsuiker were present to meet with the users and basically answer questions and do a short training on the new functions of the BioTrace+ of new Mark II system. Erwin (CEO) commented: I am always delighted to meet the users of our products in person. We have created the NeXus platform as a powerful tool to help people improve their health and performance, but the role of the clinican/therapist is absolutely essential. Although most of them are here to learn from us, I personally learn just as much from them in how we can make our products better and more user friendly.

Topics that were discussed were: using the various sensors like the respiration, BVP and SC/GSR sensors. We also spoke about surface EMG, EEG biofeedback functions and applications. Other topics were screen building, linking video and animations to feedback signals.Application discussed were: HRV and respiration training for stress related health problems, anxiety, posture related problems and attention training (neurofeedback).
