Stress Pilot
Overview
The Stress Pilot is a home trainer used for stress training programs. It consists of a sensor for measuring a patient's pulse on the ear and a training software package. By measuring heart rate variability, it makes it possible to visualize the heart's adaptability to stress factors. In addition, it can be used to train and improve your heart rate variability by means of audiovisual biofeedback on the PC.
Stress Pilot Plus offers the following additional functions for professional applications:
1. User count: Stress Pilot Plus offers the possibility of establishing and administering up to 2000 user accounts.
2. HRV-Biofeedback: You can now choose between two images for the HRV-biofeedback practice: the known 3D-biofeedback and the more neutral frequency spectrum. The latter shows to what extend the respiration technique leads to a parasympathetic activation by a clear peak at approx. 0.1 Hz. The same is represented by, e. g. butterfly, in the 3D-biofeedback image.
3. Expanded report: Stress Pilot Plus offers an expanded report in addition to the standard report including detailed analysis of the HRV-measurement. The biofeedback-practice is also assessed based on the power spectrum.
4. QuickView: In the progression overview of the HRV-measurement and the HRV-biofeedback practice you can use the „QuickView" button, to get a first impression ofthe recorded heart rate and the biosignal of the chosen measurement/practice. A zoom-function enables you to have a close look on single phases of longer recordings. Tables show the most important HRV-parameters. This way you can easily estimate the measurement quality and its results, as well as standard HRV-parameters.
