The NeXus Oximetry Sensor measures the relative amount of oxygen present in the blood (% saturation), which would normally be between 95 and 100%. People suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) may have a decreased oxygen level. Respiratory feedback (using the NeXus Respiration Sensor) could improve oxygen levels. The NeXus Oximetry Sensor allows therapists to monitor the improvement.

The sensor is placed on the finger and connects to the digital input of the NeXus-10 or NeXus-32.

Note: since the NeXus-4 does not have a digital input, the oxygen sensor cannot be used in combination with the NeXus-4
